Honda Yosaburo

A cloisonné enamel natsume (tea jar) the cover finely worked in silver wire with a ho-o with colourful flowing tail feathers on a speckled ground, the sides with a profusion of overlapping kiku on an aventurine flecked ground, applied with gilt mounts.
