Fukushima Taisai - Document Box
A lacquered paulownia wood ryoshibako (document box), the richly grained body worked in gold, silver and coloured hiramakie with creeping vines of flowering kudzu and autumn grasses, the interior lacquered to accentuate the wood grain, with simulated pewter rims.
