Gold Lacquer Hibachi

A pair of lacquer hibachi (brazier), each of rounded octagonal form, worked in gold and silver hiramakie and mother-of-pearl inlay with willow branches, cherry blossom and a chequer design, the interior with a copper liner decorated with splashed gilt, the sides applied with silver handles.
