Unno Bisei - A silver and wood box

A silver and wood box of rectangular form, the cover inset with a silver

panel finely carved in katakiri-bori with stems of bamboo and prunus

branches, with a dedicatory inscription by Unno Bisei dated Spring 1902

from the competition of the carved and inlaid metalwork department of

the Tokyo Art School.
