A large satsuma earthenware jar and cover, finely decorated with numerous items of furniture, a lantern, incense burner, lacquer tiered box, elephant okimono, candle stand and other domestic items, each delicately painted showing great detail, the foot, shoulder and cover with roundels on a geometric ground.



Impressed mark Taizan and with gilt inscription Dai Nihon Kanagawa-ken Yokohama, with indistinct inscription including the painter’s name Imura
