Nobaru Nogawa

A pair of inlaid bronze vases each of baluster form, finely worked in gold, silver, copper, shakudo and shibuichi with rural views including brides over lakes, shrines, and a moonlit view towards mount fuji, the reverse with a pheasant beneath flowering cherry and egrets beneath maple, the shoulder with stylised ho-o and scrolling foliage.
