A five case lacquer inro after a design by Hoitsu worked in gold hira-maki-e with a branch of flowering plum above stems of nanten (nandinia), the fruits inlaid in coral.
Signed Yoyusai, Hoitsu hitsu.
Length 9.3cm.
Circa 1820.
With lacquered wood manju netsuke decorated with a camellia. Signed Hoitsu hitsu.
